Wow. I just received an e-mail from Jon Medek, one of the original developers of DeluxePaint, thanking me for converting the DeluxePaint screen font to TrueType format. Now that’s quite an honor!

Hi,
Having worked at Electronic Arts from 1984-1988, mostly on all the early Amiga Deluxe series, thanks for digging up an old font friend. I was involved with the production of DeluxePaint on all platforms and remember working on that font, how much of it I can't remember but I do remember translating the Y from the Amiga to the PC. Really late at night I believe.
