In which ‘Microsoft’ and ‘robust’ are used in the same sentence

I was just trying to install Windows XP SP2 on my dad’s old computer, when right in the midst of the install, the computer decided to randomly freeze up, as it is sometimes wont to do.

I rebooted into safe mode, and guess what? It actually managed to recover from the crashed install, getting me to a point where I could safely uninstall it. I was expecting far worse, but in the end, I didn’t even need to get my Windows CD out to do a manual uninstall!

Wow. Who’d have expected Microsoft to actually write an installation procedure that robust?
