Another potentially useful typo
While I’m on a typo tangent, I guess I’ll mention a potentially useful one I saw used in chat today: “techniquest”. I suppose it would refer to the never-ending search for better technology.
And here’s yet another one: “Cow mein”. Chow mein that’s been prepared with beef, naturally…
You know the scary thing?
My chow mein really DID have little beef strips in it. I did not know that beforehand. So now I make psychic typos? Hm…

What was techniquest supposed to be in the first place?
Cow mein… lol that’s great! 🙂 I’m jealous.
Y’know, while putzing with my new computer I noticed a reoccurring typo in WinXP, but I don’t remember what it was. It was really ridiculous, though. They should be flogged.

“Techniquest” was supposed to be “techniques”. One letter off– yet it changes it so much…
And incidentally, Toni, was the reoccurring typo in Windows XP any relation to this one? Just curious. 🙂

Nope… that wasn’t it. I didn’t even notice that. No, this was a blatant spelling error, and it was on a few pop-up alert window thingies when I was putzing with stuff. I really really wish I remembered what it was… as soon as I saw it I thought of you, too… heh.
