Chain letters gone mad
How fast and how far does information travel? That was one teenager’s science fair experiment— and even I’ll admit that it’s a noble and clever idea. Unfortunately, in such situations, information travels far faster than many ISPs’ e-mail quotas allow…
Heh. My boyfriend got that e-mail, and sent the kid an e-mail asking her to prove she wasn’t a spammer. However it bounced saying “mailbox full”, which is not surprising.
Ah, the joys of exponential growth.
I’ve always wondered who the people who start the cheesy chain letters are.

Yeah, I’ve received some of those chain letters. Usually the best idea is to ignore them. Sometimes the prolific ones get reported to Snopes or other such sites, so that people may be made aware of them.
