Blaster strikes again?
Via CNET News.com: It seems that there’s yet another vulnerability in Windows 2000 and XP’s Remote Procedure Call functionality which, if left unpatched, could leave the door open for a new variation of the Blaster worm. Read more about the vulnerability on Microsoft’s site, or download the patch by searching for “824146” on Microsoft’s download site.
Oh, and running a firewall would help too. In fact, that’s one of the reasons I didn’t get infected by the first incarnation of the Blaster worm…
